NIGERIA; A NATION OF OIL WEALTH(an article by Sunsampaul Egwu)

Nigeria! The nation of oil wealth! As I write with my cold-warm
hand sting to my pen, I dare to say Nigeria can be the top airspot in
west Africa! Nigeria, a nation of great enthusiasm. After the
slavery, bombing, killing, GDP debase, fuel subsidy, fuel scarcity,
long term ASUU strike, average term Doctor’s strike, Kidnapping,
Abduction of our boys and girls, bad roads, bad school's building and
hospital's building. This nation still stands firm.

Nigeria, the most populated in west Africa! Richest in
petroleum, talent and God’s gift. A nation where champagne flows in
high life, where rats get fatter than human beings and animals become
more populated. A nation where the weather is always friendly, where
the moon song is been
sang at dawn, where tales are narrated by moonlight and even cats and
birds ask questions from the tales.

Nigeria, a nation where stars are bred, where one experiences
hell and heaven before getting to anyone; though death is her greatest
enemy, yet they die at young and old age. A nation of love and peace.
Regardless of her captivity, she was emancipated, regardless of the
number of bombing and bloodshed, the numbers multiply day by -day. Her
birth rate dominates her death rate most times. A nation that is
nicknamed Israel. God bless this nation of oil wealth!

We Nigerians should cry, sob, panic or blame our leader that much.
Let's us join hands with them in prayer and pray for the betterment of
this nation. Remember Rome wasn't built in a day. So we need to pray
and support our leaders. They are leaders for a purpose through vote
not by magic. We voted them, so let's give them the support instead of
the complaints. I've come to realize that patience matters most in
this our situation. The Muslims as you fast also remember Nigeria in
prayer as well.

This is my little observations and proffered solutions that can
make this nation grow no matter the afflictions that inflict her.
Remember many are the afflictions of the righteous but the lord
deliver them all. Let's trust in God and Nigeria will be a better
nation we all yearn for.
